Being Profitable in Business

Hello, my name is Damian and this is my new business blog. I am quite a novice in the world of business. I only started my company last year and it is only a small operation that I run part time out of my garage. I am lucky to have a friend who has been a businessman for many years, as he can offer me some fantastic advice. I wanted to start this blog to so I could share what I have learnt as I continue on my journey into the exciting world of business. I hope you find my blog useful.

3 Ways to Customize Cake Boxes

If you run a business that sells or ships cakes and other bakery treats, you are probably looking for a good cake box. These pastry boxes often come in plain, solid colours, but you can customise them to fit your business and provide branding at the same time. Here are some different ways to customise the cake or pastry boxes.

Have Your Logo Printed on Them

One of the easiest ways to customise a cake box is simply to have your business logo printed on them. Many manufacturers that make pastry boxes will also allow you to print the logo when you order the boxes. It might take a little longer to receive them and require an extra fee, but this allows you to increase your branding potential. Every time someone buys a cake from you, they see your logo, and learn to recognise it. This is often the least expensive way to customise one of these boxes as well.

Get a Full Box Customisation

This is when you don't just purchase the white cake box with your logo printed on it, but you have the entire box coloured or printed to your preference. Perhaps you run a bakery where your sign's background has old-fashioned pink and white stripes, with a black and white logo. If you want to go one step further with the box, you can have the cake box manufacturer print them to where the actual box has those same pink and white stripes on the outside, plus having your logo printed on it. This will make a big statement.

Select a Custom Size or Shape

Another way to go is to order boxes in your own custom sizes or shapes. If you sell a lot of round cakes, but don't want a boring round box, why not have the box store create an octagon-shaped box? You can still easily fit and secure round-shaped cakes in the box, but also use it for other pastries, like cupcakes and cookies. This box is fun to receive and makes your shop stand out a little. You might also want custom sizes for certain bakery items, whether they are smaller or larger than the standard cake box size.

You may also want to select different types of box elements, like customising cake boxes with handles, so that customers can carry it to birthday parties and other events in a more convenient manner. For more information, contact a business such as Ragi Packaging Services Pty Ltd.
